I’ve lived in Newark Valley for 27 years. I have 2 children both graduated from NV in ‘09 and ‘10. My husband also an 1988 graduate. We are also grandparents and I was blessed with the nickname GIGI. I am an LPN and finishing up my Bachelor’s of Science in Healthcare Management even though it’s a little late in life I decided you only get one chance in life…make it what you want it.

My husband and I just cared for my grandmother in our NV home for 10 years and she passed away in January. It was such an honor to be part of her journey.

I love this community and I am blessed to wake up to the beautiful hills and feel safe in my home everyday. I love how everyone comes together when there is a struggle or emergency. I’ve spent more time giving my time to other communities because of where I’ve worked but I am eager to become more familiar with my NV families.
