Get ready—Holiday Magic: Winter Wonderland is almost here! This Saturday, December 6, from 1–7 PM, our event center at 32 S. Main St. will transform into a small town magical world of lights, holiday decorations, friendly faces. and fun. Whether you're bringing the kids, shopping for unique gifts, or just looking to soak in the holiday spirit, this event is designed to delight all ages.

🎁 Holiday Craft Fair – Shop Local, Shop Handmade

Wander through our festive craft fair featuring local craft vendors offering handmade gifts, décor, treats, and one-of-a-kind treasures. It’s the perfect chance to support small businesses while finding meaningful holiday gifts.

❄️ Winter Wonderland Photo Stations

Capture magical memories at our Winter Wonderland photo backdrops, beautifully decorated for seasonal photos. And yes—Queen Elsa will be joining us, with hopes that Olaf and Frosty will make an appearance too! Kids (and adults!) are welcome to snap photos and say hello to our winter characters.

🎄 More Holiday Fun Around the Village

Make a full day of holiday cheer in Newark Valley! At 5:00 PM, head over to the Village Green for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, where Santa himself will make an appearance. Don’t forget to stop by the Village Noble Meeting Room to view (or enter!) the community Gingerbread Contest, featuring imaginative and delicious creations from neighbors of all ages. It’s a perfect way to continue the magic after enjoying our Winter Wonderland festivities. The combined energy of the Newark Valley Historical Society, Northern Tioga Chamber of Commerce, Village of Newark Valley, local businesses and Newark Valley Community Connection make this event so special and magical that you won't want to miss out!
