As the leaves turn and fall settles in, thereās no better time to connect with your community, explore new talents, and celebrate the season together! Newark Valley Community Connection is buzzing with activity, and weāve got something for everyoneāfrom creativity and learning to dancing, music, and Halloween chills.
⨠Sterling Silver Success! We recently hosted another Sterling Silver Jewelry Workshop, with our talented board member and jewelry expert, Marsha, and it was a sparkling success! Participants learned the basics of metalsmithing, from shaping and soldering to polishing their own handcrafted sterling silver pieces. The class brought out incredible creativity and camaraderieāand due to the enthusiastic response, weāre excited to announce a full metalsmithing course will be offered in the near future. Stay tuned for details!
šŗ Dance Away! Get ready to move with Redās Line Dance Instruction on October 2nd and 16th at 6:30 PM. Whether youāre a seasoned dancer or just want to try something new, line dancing is a fun way to connect and get your steps in. No partner neededājust bring your enthusiasm!

šØ Open Paint Night ā October 9, 6:30 PM Grab a brush and let your imagination run wild! Weāll supply everything you need: paint, canvas, and snacks. Bring a friend or come soloāeither way, youāre guaranteed to leave with something colorful and uniquely yours.

š» Haunted Halls Fundraiser ā October 24 & 25, 5ā8 PM Our most thrilling event of the season returns! Venture through our Haunted Hallsāstarting with a kid-friendly section before stepping into the spooky unknown. Expect creative scares, eerie fairy tale twists, and spine-tingling fun. Donāt forget to grab snacks upstairs in the community hall afterward to calm your nerves!
