There’s no shortage of creativity, community, and connection happening at NVCC this summer—and we’re just getting started! From hands-on workshops to delicious meals, art shows to haunted halls, here’s what’s coming up in July and a sneak peek at the exciting fall season ahead.

💍 July 10 – Jewelry Workshop: Make Your Own Sterling Silver Ring

Ever dreamed of creating your own wearable art? Join us for a special Jewelry Fabrication Workshop where you’ll learn how to make a sterling silver ring from scratch.🛠️ All materials provided💲 $40 per person🕕 Begins at 5:00 PM🎟️ Registration is required—spots are limited! 🍽️ July 14 – Monday Lunch (In Our Air Conditioning!)

Cool off and enjoy a home-cooked meal in our cozy community space.

🎨 Free Youth Art Classes – July 25, July 29, August 5 | 1–4 PM

Celebrate Newark Valley Summerfest with us on Friday, July 26 as we host a special Art & History Show in our space. Enjoy local artists' work, learn about our area’s past, and be part of this festive weekend!

Keep an eye out for Open Paint Nights, where you can unwind and create with others, and our upcoming Sourdough Bread Cooking Class. These pop-up events are perfect for trying something new—stay tuned for announcements!

Mark your calendars now! We’ve got an amazing lineup of fall events that combine music, dancing, food, mystery, and a few spooky surprises:

Line Dancing Returns in September! Dust off your boots and join the fun with weekly sessions.
September 6 – Dinner & Dancing with Ain’t Misbehavin’ Enjoy a full meal and live music with this popular band.
October 11 –Fall Organ Concert & Dinner Featuring the incredible Yancey Moore on the organ and a delicious meal.
October 25 & 26 – Interactive Haunted Halls Our spooky Halloween tradition returns with immersive scares and fun for all ages. Volunteer Actors needed for this fun event!
November 8 – Murder Mystery Dinner Solve the mystery while enjoying a multi-course meal. It’s interactive, hilarious, and not to be missed!
November 29 – Madrigal Choir & Dinner A beautiful evening featuring the Binghamton-area Madrigal Choir and a festive dinner.
December 6 – Holiday Magic Celebration Crafts, music, and community fun to kick off the holiday season in style!
