Why Your Donation Matters
We want to share something important about our events. Newark Valley Community Connection is a nonprofit, and the generosity of our community is what makes these activities possible.
The donations we receive help cover the costs of heating our buildings through the winter, electricity and other utilities, insurance, and the programs and events we offer throughout the year. Keeping our doors open and our spaces available for the community comes with significant ongoing expenses.
Our events take planning, supplies, volunteers, and money to make them happen. When you attend and contribute, you’re doing more than enjoying an evening out — you’re helping sustain a community gathering place where people can connect, participate, and feel welcome.
We’re grateful to everyone who attends, volunteers, donates, and supports NVCC. Your generosity truly makes a difference.
We hope to see you this October!

📊 NVCC Community Pulse: Help Us Plan What Comes Next!
At NVCC, we want to offer activities and programs that our community genuinely wants and will take part in. But the best way to find out what people want is to ask!
Last week, we kicked off our NVCC Community Pulse with a question about the activities people would most like to attend. Arts and crafts workshops and live music and concerts were the top two choices in our initial results.
This week, we have another question, because knowing what interests you is only part of the picture.
Community Pulse — Week 2: How Often Would You Come?
If NVCC offered activities you were interested in, how often would you realistically attend?
Weekly
2–3 times a month
About once a month
A few times a year
Mostly special or large events
It depends on the activity
We’d love to hear from you! Look for this week’s Community Pulse question on our Facebook page and let us know your answer.
Your feedback will help us make informed decisions about future programming, so we can focus our time, energy, and resources on activities that bring people together.
Thank you for helping us build a more connected community!
