Fall fun is in full swing at NVCC, and we have an exciting lineup of events for all ages! From spooky haunts to hearty meals and holiday cheer, thereās something for everyone to enjoy.

š» Haunted Halls ā October 24 & 25, 5ā8 PM
Step into a world of twisted fairytales at our annual Haunted Halls fundraiser! The first section is ānot-too-scaryā and perfect for younger children, while the deeper halls are filled with frights fit for teens and adults. Join us for a free community ham dinner at NVCC! Reservations are required for this event. You can call 607-308-1503 or reserve at newarkvalleycc.com . We would love to hear your ideas. You will have a chance share suggestions on events and activities you would like to see here at Newark Valley Community Connection. After dinner, enjoy a short and informative presentation by Matt Kistner and Ashley Hammond about recent changes to Social Security and Medicare. Good food, great company, and valuable insights ā the perfect combination!

Our regular Monday Lunch returns with a special invitation to all veterans, who are invited to enjoy lunch free of charge in appreciation for their service. Weāll also welcome Joe Onofrio for a fascinating presentation on fishing for muskies in our local waters.
š Line Dancing Nights ā November 6 & 20, 6:30ā8:30 PM
Grab your boots and bring a friend! Line dancing is back for two lively November sessions. Whether youāre a seasoned dancer or just stepping onto the floor for the first time, youāll have a great time moving to the music and meeting new friends.

Itās a book club with a twist! Read a book of your choice with a forest theme and then join us to discuss and share! Feel free to bring a beverage to enjoy while we chat!In partnership with the Tappan Spaulding Memorial Library, our Book Club returns this fall! Join us for an evening of great discussion, new reads, and warm community connection.
š¶ Christmas Brunch with the Madrigal Choir ā November 29, Noon
Weāre kicking off the holiday season in grand style! Join us for a festive brunch at Noon, followed by a live performance by the phenomenal Madrigal Choir from Binghamton at 2:00 PM. This joyful event is sure to fill your heart (and your belly!) with the spirit of the season.
