Spring Is Blooming at Newark Valley Community Connection

As we welcome the spring season, Newark Valley Community Connection is excited to offer a full lineup of events designed to bring people together, support local businesses and makers, and continue building a stronger community across northern Tioga. Our photo collage includes some of our local vendors who will be at our Easter Basket & Spring Craft Fair coming up on March 28th.

We hope you’ll join us for these upcoming opportunities to connect, create, shop local, and enjoy time together.

Sterling Silver Earring Jewelry Workshop

Sunday, March 22

Join us this Sunday for our Sterling Silver Earring Jewelry Workshop, a hands-on opportunity to create a beautiful pair of earrings in a fun and welcoming setting. Whether you’re trying something new or simply enjoy creative experiences, this workshop is a great way to spend the day.

Easter Basket and Spring Craft Fair

Saturday, March 28 | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

Our Easter Basket and Spring Craft Fair will be a wonderful day for the whole family. We’ll be hosting a variety of local vendors, offering handmade items, gifts, seasonal décor, treats, and more.

The day will also include:

  • a chocolate tasting bar

  • lunch featuring pierogi and kielbasa, hotdogs and other goodies

  • a children’s make-and-take craft station

  • a treasure hunt for young children

It’s the perfect opportunity to shop local, enjoy some spring fun, and spend time in the community.

Looking Ahead to April

April is shaping up to be another exciting month at Newark Valley Community Connection.

  • April 8 – Adult and Youth Paint & Sip & Ice Cream!

  • April 9 and April 23 – Line Dancing (held twice monthly and always a fun, well-attended favorite)

  • Every Tuesday Morning – Community Yoga and Tea, a program that continues to be very well received

On April 13, our Monday Community Lunch will feature entertainment from an Elvis tribute performer.

We are especially grateful to Visions Federal Credit Union for sponsoring our monthly Monday lunches. Their support allows us to continue offering delicious meals at a reasonable and affordable cost, helping keep these gatherings accessible to our community.

On April 18, we’ll host a Chicken Barbecue and Rummage Sale, offering great food and a chance to find some treasures while supporting our programs.

More details on April events will be shared soon, so be sure to keep an eye on our page.

Supporting Community Through Sponsorship

Newark Valley Community Connection works hard to create programs, events, and opportunities that bring people together. We are grateful for the continued support from our community.

We also maintain the Newark Valley, New York community group, which helps connect residents, organizations, and local businesses. We appreciate the many businesses that promote themselves there and encourage those who benefit from that visibility to consider supporting our work through a business or corporate sponsorship.

Sponsorships help us continue expanding programs, maintaining our spaces, and strengthening our ability to serve Newark Valley and the surrounding northern Tioga region. They also support our goal of coordinating and collaborating with other nonprofits to build a stronger, more connected community.

Join Us This Spring

There is so much happening this season, and we’re excited for all that’s ahead. From creative workshops and family-friendly events to lunches and community activities, each gathering helps strengthen the connections that make this community special.

We hope to see you soon, and thank you for being part of Newark Valley Community Connection.
